Program Overview
The Informatics and Technologies of Communication at University of Maribor is a MA programme in Communications & Media taught in English, Slovenian over 24 months, delivered On-campus. Candidates who completed the following\nmay apply for the master\xc2\x92s (2nd-cycle) programme \xc2\x93Informatics and\nTechnologies of Communication\xc2\x94:

- A bachelor\xc2\x92s (1st-cycle) programme in\nthe relevant field: computing (48); \n
- \n
- A bachelor\xc2\x92s (1st-cycle) programme in\none of the following fields: mathematics and statistics (46), mechanics\nand metal work (521), electricity and energy (522), electronics and\nautomation (523), \xc2\xa0information security (861), economics\n(314), business and administration (34). Prior to enrolment, candidates\nmust fulfil study obligations corresponding to 30 ECTS credits under the\nbachelor\xc2\x92s (first-cycle) programme, a training programme or by taking\nplacement tests. All candidates must fulfil the following obligations:\n\xc2\x93Object-oriented Programming in Java\xc2\x94 (6 ECTS), \xc2\x93Databases I\xc2\x94 (6 ECTS),\n\xc2\x93Basics of Web Technologies\xc2\x94 (6 ECTS).
