Students will normally have a BA, or an equivalent\noverseas qualification or sufficient work experience to demonstrate the\nappropriate intellectual, creative and personal qualities to engage with the\ndemands of the programme.
\nStudents come from a wide range of backgrounds.\nWhile some come directly from first-degree progammes in information design, new\nmedia design, graphic design, data visualisation, audio-visual\xc2\xa0 design and\nmultimedia, students have also joined the course with professional experience\nin industry, or from backgrounds as diverse as anthropology, journalism,\narchitecture and computing.
