Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
1. A completed Bachelor\'s degree in Information Sciences or related area
First and foremost, the foreign certificate on the basis of which you seek admission must be at least the equivalent of a Dutch Bachelor\'s degree in Information Sciences or a related discipline obtained at a recognised university (BA or BSc).
The preliminary admission decision will be based on the information provided on the application form.
2. A proficiency in English
The language requirements for Master\'s programme in Information Sciences differ from the general language requirements!In order to take part in the programme, you need to have a sufficient level of English. This requirement has been satisfied when the student provides us with one of these documents:
- A TOEFL score of 575 (paper based) or 90 (internet based)
- An IELTS score of 6.5
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a mark of C or higher
3. A motivation letter
In this letter of motivation you should explain why you want to attend this programme and why you think you are suited for this programme. Also enclose a resume with photo, list of grades. An interview (face-to-face or via Skype) will follow before you are admitted to the programme.
4. Letters of recommendation
Applicants will need to send in two letters of recommendation by lectures or supervisors (including contact details).English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
