Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 3

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

The Masters program is open to qualified students with undergraduate degrees from accredited universities regardless of undergraduate major. An undergraduate degree in accounting or business is not necessary.

Admission decisions are based on a number of factors including performance in prior undergraduate/graduate coursework, Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score, employment history, letters of recommendation, and a statement of the applicant\'s personal goals. Admission recommendations are made on a rolling basis once all application materials are received.

Applicants must generally have an overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and an acceptable score on the GMAT or GRE to be admittable. As a guideline, current students have an average undergraduate GPA of approximately 3.5 and an average overall GMAT score of 618. If a GRE score is submitted, verbal and quantitative scores should be 160 or higher.

Scholarships and assistantships are awarded based primarily on these criteria. International students for whom English is a second language must also demonstrate proficiency in English. Proficiency is generally demonstrated by a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 600 on the written-based test (or 250 on the computer-based test or 100 on the internet-based test) and a verbal subscore on the GMAT at or above the 40th percentile.
