The Information Technology at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is a MEng programme in Computer Science & IT over 18 months, delivered On-campus. This programme equips graduates with advanced knowledge and practical skills for professional and academic careers in the field.

Academic Requirements
- the Finnish Bachelor of Engineering degree (insin\xc3\xb6\xc3\xb6ri AMK); or
- some other appropriate Finnish higher education degree with minimum extent of 240 cr (ECTS); or
- some other appropriate Finnish higher education degree combined with a former Finnish "college level" degree (opisto- tai ammatillisen korkea-asteen tutkinto) in the relevant field; or
- appropriate foreign higher education degree equivalent to the above mentioned Finnish higher education degrees in terms of level, extent and content (assessed by the degree programme).
- In addition, eligibility to apply requires at leats three years of work experience in an appropriate field accumulated as from the date of award of the final higher education degree certificate and obtained no later than 31 July 2016. Universities of applied sciences also accept work experience obtained after completion of a Finnish post-secondary higher vocational level diploma (in any field of education) but prior to taking the higher education degree.
