Academic Requirements
A major professor is the faculty member you wish to conduct research with and is often called your mentor or the primary investigator (PI).
Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact Integrative Pathobiology faculty with whom they would like to study.
\xc2\xa0A student can be accepted without confirmed sponsorship. Such students would complete 1-2 laboratory rotations. Your major professor does not need to be an existing member of the Integrative Pathobiology group; any qualified UC Davis faculty can become a member of our group.\xc2\xa0
Prospective graduate students may apply for admission to either the MS or PhD programs. Admissions preference is given to PhD applicants.
