Course Structure

["The compulsory core modules IBA International, IBA Foreign Trade and Leadership Competence offer the possibility to build up and deepen the current expert knowledge on the basis of the Bachelor\'s degree for working in an international company.", \'Around the core elements lies a coordinated circle of specialization modules. Students choose five out of the courses offered: Foreign Trade Consulting - Int. Entrepreneurship - Adv. Int. Controlling - Adv. Int. Finance - Adv. HR & Organization Mngmt - Int. Marketing Managment & CRM - Int. Supply Chain Management - E-Commerce.\', \'Based on scientific methods as well as expert knowledge developed during the course of studies, the Master\’s thesis concludes the degree course. It should preferably be written in cooperation with an international company.\']

Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

The requirements for the admission to the consecutive International Business Administration and Foreign Trade Master’s degree program are:

  1. Verification of a degree in the Bachelor’s program Internationale Betriebswirtschaft und Außenwirtschaft at the University of Applied Sciences Worms with at least a satisfactory average grade of 2,5
    or
  2. the customary equivalent for a first degree in business with at least a satisfactory average grade of 2,5 or the country’s equivalent.This applies to an accredited Bachelor, Diplom or Diplom (FH) at a German or comparable foreign University in another economic course of studies of at least 210 European Credit Transfer System Points (ECTS).
Bachelor\'s program graduates with less than 210 credit points have to render performance which is taken into account for the bachelor\'s degree with 30 credit points as an additional admission requirement (for detailed regulations please check our website)
3. Additionally advanced English language skills are required. Evidence can generally be provided
by:
  • Verification of a first academic degree with English as teaching language. Please submit an additional statement by your school/university that the language of instruction was English
  • Verification of a pre-university secondary education in English, from a country with English as its official language. Please submit an additional statement by your school/university that the language of instruction was English
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language:
    • I. Internet Based Test (TOEFL iBT) with at least 83 points
    • II. TOEFL Computer-Based (CBT) with at least 220 points
    • III. TOEFL Paper-Based (PBT) with at least 560 points
  • International English Testing System – Academic Test (IELTS) with at least band 6.0.
  • Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) with at least 785 points
The test results should not exceed 2 years of age on the appointed deadline of application term.
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English. The date of acquisition should not date back more than two years on the appointed deadline of application term

English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
