Academic Requirements
Apply via FCU online application system. Create an account and enter your personal data via this system. After filling out the application form online, make sure all of the information is correct, click \xc2\x93submit\xc2\x94 to complete the online procedure, then print out the application form, checklist, declaration, Letter of authorization, financial guarantee (if applicable) and application cover sheet.
Materials Required for Applications

- Application form (including scholarship application information).
After filling in the online application form, print out the form and attach a recent passport sized
photo (3.5cm \xc3\x97 4.5cm).
- Copy of passport (front page) or other equivalent verification of nationality.
- Declaration (automatically generated after filling in the online application form).
- Letter of Authorization (automatically generated after filling in the online application form).
- Two letters of recommendation (only for master\xc2\x92s degree and PhD program applicants).
- The highest-level diploma
- For academic credentials from Mainland China, the Regulations Governing the Accreditation of Schools in Mainland China shall apply.
- For academic credentials from Hong Kong or Macau, the Academic Credential Verification and Accreditation Methods adopted in Hong Kong and Macau shall apply.
Academic credentials from other areas:
- Academic credentials earned at overseas Taiwanese schools or Taiwanese schools in Mainland China shall be regarded as the same as those at domestic schools with equivalent levels.
- Academic credentials referred to in the preceding two items shall be subject to the Regulations Regarding the Assessment and Recognition of Foreign Academic Credentials for Institutions of Higher Education. However, academic credentials earned from schools or branches established in Mainland China by foreign institutions shall require public notarization in Mainland China and be verified by an institute established or appointed by or through a private agency commissioned by, the Executive Yuan.
