Academic Requirements
Students who apply to the School come from a variety of educational backgrounds; other than a degree in Medicine, Nursing or Dentistry there are other degrees that are beneficial when applying for postgraduate study within our School. For example, if you are interested in behavioural sciences or health education, then having a degree in sociology, psychology or anthropology would be useful. For those interested in health service administration, a business background in public administration or economics would be beneficial. To study global health and policy development, or students wanting to work towards Millennium Development Goals having a degree within the social sciences or humanities will be helpful.
