  • A bachelor degree or an equivalent degree, preferably in natural sciences (min. 180 ECTS*).
  • An extended application (so called PORTFOLIO), including proof of English proficiency and an essay on a given subject
  • The PORTFOLIO should include:
    - a motivation letter (max. 1 page)
    - a copy of a bachelor or equivalent degree
    - essay on one of the given topics (max. 10 pages)
    - a list of scientific activities:
    a. publications, if any
    b. participation in conferences, workshops, schools etc., if any
    c. participation in running scientific projects, if any
    d. international and national awards, if any
    e. personal grants, if any
    - proof of English proficiency (level: upper intermediate)
    - a letter of recommendation

    English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
