Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
You need the following GMAT score:
The GMAT is specifically designed for admission to business or management schools, and is meant to test how prepared you are for a business degree programme
- Proof of a degree in Business, Business Law, Economics or Management from a German institute of higher education or vocational college or a comparable degree from a foreign institute of higher education. (legally attested copy)
- Above-average examination results must have been obtained during the first degree course (a final grade of at least 2.3 on the German grading scale). In the case of law degrees a minimum of 6.5 points must be have been attained.
- All foreign degrees will be validated through uni-assist. Uni-assist will also convert your final grade average to the German grading scale (1,0 excellent - 5,0 fail).
- Evidence of proficiency in English. Please note that you have to submit only one of the following:
- First degree from a program conducted completely in the English language
- Test of English as a Foreign Language with at least 213 points (computer based) or 79 points (internet based)
- Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) with at least 785 points
- First Certificate in English (FCE)
- Cambridge Advance English (CAE)
- Cambridge Proficiency (CPE)
- Business English Certificate Vantage Level (BEC Vantage)
- International English Language Testing System Academic (IELTS) with a minimum of 6.5 points
- Evidence of English proficiency is not required with a GMAT score of at least 500 points (GMAT is only required for those students choosing the Double-Degree Option with a university that requires a GMAT)
- Curriculum Vitae with personal details, education and work experience
- Any documents concerning international and/or work experience (i.e. letter of recommendation, etc.)
- Chinese, Mongolian, and Vietnamese applicants also need to attach the Original Certificate of the "Akademische Prüfstelle des Kulturreferates der Deutschen Botschaft" (APS) from their country
