• Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and/or universities. The original transcripts must be in a sealed enveloped (unopened) from the issuing-institution.

• If the official transcripts are not in English, a second copy of the transcript must be evaluated by an official translation agency and sent to our mailing address above. Visit the University Graduate School’s website for more information. If this applied to you, you may ask the University to provide two copies of transcripts. The first set must come to us in a sealed envelope. The second set may be sent to a translation agency.

• Official proof of degree: A notarized copy of the original diploma is required, if the degree is not posted on the official transcript

• GMAT scores: earn a score of at least 500 on the GMAT (www.mba.com) and achieve a minimum of 25 percent in each of the verbal and quantitative percentile sections. Scores are considered official when sent by the testing center directly to our school

• Applicants who already possess a Master’s degree from an accredited institution may be eligible for a GMAT waiver provided that the graduate degree GPA is 3.0 or better.

• Current Resume: detailing your chronological professional experience, and dates of earned degrees. Internships and part-time employment may be included.

• Statement of Purpose: A document of no more than two pages outlining your objectives for pursuing this graduate degree program

• TOEFL or IELTS SCORES: If you earned your Bachelor Degree in a country whose official language is not English, you must demonstrate English proficiency by taking either the TOEFL or IELTS. Minimum scores for the TOEFL are: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based and 80 internet-based. Minimum score for the IELTS is 6.5. When requesting the official scores, please refer to the Florida International University Institution code 5206.

Prospective students claiming Florida residency for the purposes of tuition must complete the Initial Residency Classification Form and submit appropriate supporting documents prior to an admissions decision. If you have not submitted valid and complete documentation prior to admission, you will be classified as out-of-state during the admissions process.

Prospective students claiming residency must submit two (2) forms of evidence to substantiate the Initial Residency Classification Form. Each form must not be expired, and must demonstrate one full year of Florida residency prior to the beginning of your intended first term. Accepted documents include:

• Driver’s license (or DMV report if license has been renewed)

• Voter’s registration card

• Motor vehicle registration (If renewed, submit current and previous registrations)

• Letter of full-time Employment in Florida with W2s

• Declaration of domicile in Florida (Issue date is the date filed in the State of Florida)

• Mortgage, warranty deed, or homestead exemption

• Lease for an apartment or house

• Florida occupational or professional License

• Membership in a Florida organization

• State, federal, or court documents evidencing legal ties to Florida

• Benefit histories from Florida agencies or public assistance programs
