Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

AHO accepts around 20 students each year. You must be able to document a bachelor degree or equivalent undergraduate education, with relevance to design. The undergraduate degree must be of at least 180 ECTS credits, and reflected through a portfolio. The portfolio must contain 5-10 design projects accompanied by descriptions of each project. The portfolio is subject to evaluation by an expert committee. Applicants may be called in for an interview before a final decision is made.\xc2\xa0

*International applicants from outside the Nordic countries must document satisfactory English skills. NB! Documentation of satisfactory knowledge of English must be uploaded before March 1st. Make sure to plan to take the IELTS/TOEFL test in time.\xc2\xa0

If you complete your bachelor\'s degree later in the spring or summer, you must submit transcripts of records from the semesters you have completed by the application deadline.

Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline (by e-mail/regular mail) will not be taken into consideration.
