- Diagnosis and physiological monitoring using various technologies: optical, acoustic and biomarkers
- Mathematical modeling of biological processes: fluid flow, drug release, population dynamics, properties of biological membranes, neurophysiological processes, learning and adaptation of movement
- Robotics in clinical applications: telesurgery, robot-assisted surgery, haptic feedback, virtual environments
- Behavioral and neurophysiological aspects of motor learning and motor adaptation
- Mechanical Properties of biological membranes
- Optical properties of biological tissues

Academic Requirements
- Admission to graduate programs of BGU is offered to applicants who hold Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent foreign credentials and who show promise of superior scholarly achievements.
- An application is judged by academic records; recommendations of instructors (or others) qualified to evaluate academic ability and character, interest and potential; academic or professional honors; and when relevant, test scores and practical experience.
