The deadline for applications to this programme is Friday 1st August 2014.
Applicants require a good honours degree in an appropriate subject. Applicants must supply a portfolio of fiction or poetry: between 3,000-5,000 words of fiction (either short stories or a novel extract) or around 10 poems (between 200-400 lines in total).
Places will be awarded for one or other but if you are uncertain which strand to apply for, send a sample of both. Work in other forms, e.g. journalism, life writing or advertising will not be considered. A personal statement should outline writing history and interests.
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
