Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care Postgraduate Certificate

You\nwill normally need the following:

- have 2 years post\nGraduate experience in an appropriate subject or equivalent academic credits

- to be currently\nin employment in an arena which will enable the achievement of the individual\nmodule learning outcomes e.g. voluntary, public, private, community, acute\nhealth and social care arenas.

If\nyou have an International qualification, it will need to be mapped to the UK\nequivalent registration to ensure that you are entering the programme with at\nleast 120 academic credits at level 6.

English\nlanguage qualifications

If\nEnglish is not your first language you will need an English language\nqualification. For this course you will need at least one of the following:

- IELTS 7.0

- \xc2\xa0TOEFL: 600 (paper\nbased), 250 (computer based) or 100 (internet based)

- \xc2\xa0Pearson Test of\nAcademic English: 51

- \xc2\xa0Cambridge\nAdvanced Certificate: Pass

- \xc2\xa0London Tests of\nEnglish: we accept level 4 for undergraduate courses

- \xc2\xa0International GCE\nO Level English Language: Grade C

- \xc2\xa0International\nGCSE English/English as a Second Language: Grade C

Non-standard\nentrants:

If\nyou are a non-standard entrant you may be required to submit evidence of your\nwork experience and counselled before being offered a place to ensure that you\nhave the necessary capacity for critical awareness and reflection.
\nApplicants who wish to apply for Advanced Standing and /or block credit will be\nassessed according to the University\xc2\x92s recognition of Prior Learning (APL)\nRegulatory Framework. The flexible approach to APL ensures students may enter\nat PG Cert or Diploma levels.
