Academic Requirements

- Copy of current Washington state teaching certificate\xc2\xa0(not required for Literacy + Certification applicants).
- Official transcript\xc2\xa0documenting bachelor\'s degree (including official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended).
- Personal statement\xc2\xa0(1\xc2\x962 pages).
- GRE (Graduate Record Exam)\xc2\xa0or\xc2\xa0MAT\xc2\xa0(Miller Analogies Test)scores taken within five years of application.
- On the GRE, preferred minimum scores of 148 in Verbal and 147 in Quantitative.\xc2\xa0
- On the MAT, preferred minimum scaled score of 400.*
- Two letters of recommendation.
