Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

We welcome applications from talented candidates of all backgrounds and each application is considered on its individual merit. Usually candidates must:

Hold a relevant, recognised qualification

Either:

  • a 1st or 2nd class UK Honours Degree (or equivalent Bachelors Degree)

  • or a professional qualification and around three years\' relevant work experience

Having taken your application into consideration, the course director may also require you to take GMAT (minimum score 600) or GRE (75th percentile in both verbal and quantitative reasoning sections). The GMAT course code for the Masters in Management and Corporate Sustainability is K2H-N3-98 and our GRE institution code is 3641.

Have a good standard of English

The participative nature of the course demands a high oral ability and written work needs a strong business vocabulary. If English is not your first language, you must take one of the following:

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) \xc2\x96 a minimum score of 92 is required. The ETS DI Code for TOEFL is 0822. (Important: this test is not currently accepted by the UK Home Office for Tier 4 (General) visa applications)

  • Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) \xc2\x96 a minimum score of 800 is required (part 1). Applicants from outside the EU are also required to take part 2 of the test. (Important: this test is not currently accepted by the UK Home Office for Tier 4 (General) visa applications)

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) \xc2\x96 band 6.5 is required, with writing of 6.5

  • English for Speakers of other languages (ESOL) either:

    • Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) \xc2\x96 grade A - C

    • Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) \xc2\x96 grade A - C

  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) \xc2\x96 an overall score of 65

Students requiring a Tier 4 (General) visa will also need to meet the UK Home Office Tier 4 (General) student visa English language requirements . The UK Home Office are not currently accepting TOEFL or TOEIC tests for Tier 4 (General) visa applications. Other restrictions from the UK Home Office may apply from time to time and we will advise applicants of these restrictions where appropriate.
