Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Admission to the MME program takes place on a competitive basis, linked to the following requirements:
- Bachelor in Engineering or Bachelor in Science related to your envisioned study program awarded by an internationally recognized university-level institution.
- Basic knowledge in business administration is requested as an admission requirement. Students with no previous knowledge in management have to participate in a preparatory online courses conducted by the school of business and economics at the RWTH Aachen University prior to the beginning of the course (July-Sep).
- Applicants who are non-native English speakers and who received their academic qualifications from non-English-speaking universities must prove sufficient fluency in English. The following evidence of language proficiency is recognized:
- Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) Internet-based Test (iBT) with a result of at least 90 points or,
- TOEFL Paper-based Test (PBT) with a result of at least 577 points or,
- IELTS-Test with a result of at least 5.5,
- Cambridge Test-Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).
English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
