The diploma is open to all students who have completed their undergraduate studies
Students can apply specifically for the diploma at the University of Iceland, or take the courses as part of their \xc2\x91semester abroad\xc2\x92, as exchange students. Students can also take individual courses from within the diploma programme, and gain the credits for these courses, without necessarily having to complete the full programme.
