Admission Requirements

College graduates in all fields of study \xc2\x97 engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, business, and even business or the liberal arts \xc2\x97 are invited to apply to the Management Science program. Applicants whose background does not include academic preparation in mathematics similar to that of an undergraduate engineer (most notably including at least three semesters of calculus) may be required to complete undergraduate prerequisites. Applicants should have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. In some cases, applicants with a GPA below 3.0 \xc2\x97 especially those with significant work experience \xc2\x97 may be admitted on a conditional basis.

Please note, while the Department of Engineering Management and Systems does not require you to provide results from the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or letters of recommendation, you are welcome to submit such information in support of your application. A current r\xc3\xa9sum\xc3\xa9 is often helpful as well . . . but also not required.
