Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

Candidates must hold a university degree or a three-year university diploma, or another recognized qualification obtained from a foreign institution. An English language certification is also required, issued by a body accredited by the University, corresponding to the B2 level. Direct access is provided to students who have already completed a three-year university degree in one of the following categories:

  • Ministerial Decree 270/04:
L-2 Biotechnology, L-6 Geography, L-7 Civil and environmental engineering, L-13 Biological sciences, L- 21 Sciences of land, urban, landscape and environmental planning L-25 Agricultural and forestry sciences and technologies, L-28 Navigation sciences and technologies, L-32 Science and technology for the environment and nature, L-34 Geological sciences, L-38 Livestock science and animal production technologies;
  • Ministerial Decree 509/99:

1 Biotechnology, 30 Geographical Sciences, 8 Civil and environmental engineering, 12 Biological sciences, 7 Urban planning and land and environmental planning, 20 Agricultural, food and forestry sciences and technologies, 22 Sea and air transport science and technology, 27 Science and technology for the environment and nature, 16 Earth Sciences 40 Livestock and animal production science and technologies.

Graduates with a high competence level but whose background is not entirely consistent with the requirements, may be admitted after an assessment interview. The interview will focus on the candidate’s knowledge of computer science, mathematics, physics and chemistry, and his/her expertise regarding life sciences, Earth science, ecology as well as knowledge related to the social, legal and economic aspects of the issues covered by the postgraduate degree program.
