Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

The MPH-HSMP is an international master-after-master programme intended for health professionals and researchers involved in health systems management and policy-making in low and middle-income countries.

Holders of a university degree in medicine or health sciences (min. 4 years) equivalent to 240 ECTS (referred to as a Master degree in the European Union) can apply for the course.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in health system\xc2\x92s management or policy-making in low and middle-income countries to be eligible for admission as the course builds on the exchange of experience.

In 2017/18 the course language is English. Proficiency in the course language is required. Candidates who are not native speakers of the course language or whose language of instruction is not the same as the course language, must be able to prove their language proficiency with a certificate from a recognized institution (Required level for English: TOEFL paper-based 580, computer-based 230, Internet-based 88 or IELTS 6.5. (ITM Toefl Code 7727))

Candidates can apply for this course using the online application tool. The online application form should be submitted no later than 15 January. In a second step, eligible applicants are requested to complete their application file with the required additional documents before 1 February.
