Programme The programme spans two years. The first year of the Master’s programme (M1) takes place at the University of Lorraine, the second year (M2) at Saarland University, with grouped training periods at the University of Luxembourg in the second semester of each year. Admissions In addition to a high level of language training (French/German, level C2 of the European Framework of Reference & another modern language), the interdisciplinary study programme includes teaching units on European integration cross-border cooperation intercultural communication information and communication sciences cultural studies media and cross-border projects literature and languages from a cross-cultural perspective applied research methodologies The programme also includes a work placement (where students analyse cross-border cooperation practices) and courses to improve their knowledge of French and German. The programme is recognised and supported by the Franco-German University; students are awarded mobility grants during their stays abroad.
