Programme The Sustainable Finance track consists of five core courses (see below), electives and either an Internship and Applied Master Thesis or an Academic Master Thesis. All courses are supported by real case studies developed by sustainable finance practitioners. This strategy ensures that students gain practical knowledge that can be applied to the financial industry.Attendance at second year courses is compulsory. Admission Requirements
Admissions To apply for a programme at the University of Luxembourg, candidates must comply with the general eligibility criteria for the chosen programme type and be selected by the study programme based on the quality of their application. (semester 3,4) Format: Full-time programme (Part-time student status allowed) Specific information for this programme Requirements To enter in second year Sustainable Finance directly:– a 4-year BA degree in the field with 240 ECTs– a 3-year BA and 1-year Masters in the field achieving 240 ECTs– a specific and strong motivation for the chosen track– in addition, the applicants have to provide information how they achieved the learning outcomes at first year of Master level in the previous course of studies or during professional work. Thus, applicants need to supplement the admission file by providing the description of relevant modules/courses including the learning outcomes. All applicants whose native language is not English need to be able to demonstrate proficiency of English at B2 level (compulsory), (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – CEFR) Proof of language skills Selection procedure & criteria The application file is assessed by the Admissions Board. Applicants are evaluated and selected on the basis of the application criteria to the Master in Finance and Economics in general.
