Programme The first semester is an orientation semester with a set of common courses for all students that establish a firm foundation for more specialised courses.In semesters 2 and 3, profiles define compulsory and recommended courses. In the semester 4, the student writes a master thesis usually in the context of a research project. Admission Requirements

Admissions To apply for a programme at the University of Luxembourg, candidates must comply with the general eligibility criteria for the chosen programme type and be selected by the study programme based on the quality of their application. (semester 1,2,3,4) Format: Full-time programme (Part-time student status allowed) Dates coming soon Specific information for this programme Requirements We are looking for students with a Bachelor or equivalent diploma degree in computer science or relevant field, with good mathematical knowledge and with the motivation to study in a research-oriented field. Language: level B2 in English Language certificates currently accepted Selection procedure & criteria Both language and academic requirements described above will be individually evaluated based on the application files.Do not forget to send in at least one academic letter of recommendation together with your documents. Academic Background: The student needs to have a basic education in computer science as given in a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. This includes e.g.: mathematical foundations as given in (Linear) Algebra, Analysis, etc. good programming skills in at least one programming language comprehension of abstract subjects basic understanding of computer science. There is no need for work experience, but it can become a plus for a student to share industrial experiences.
