Academic Requirements
You need the following GMAT score:
The average GMAT score from last intake (fall 2016) was 630.
The GMAT is specifically designed for admission to business or management schools, and is meant to test how prepared you are for a business degree programme
To be eligible for admission to the MBA program, an applicant must hold a university degree\nrecognized by AUB and meet the English Language Proficiency Requirement (ELPR) of the\nUniversity.
The MBA program is looking to attract and admit candidates with balanced competencies\nincluding excellent analytical skills, leadership habits, engaged citizenship, and great career\npotential.
These various competencies will be measured through the following list:
- Undergraduate performance (relevant course grades and average GPA of at least 80)
- GMAT score:
a. Applicants are advised to submit their GMAT score together with their applications
b. Current average GMAT score of admitted applicants is 630
c. Applicants with a GMAT score less than 570 will not be admitted into the program
- Relevant business experience including number of years, position held, and tasks undertaken: Applicants with less than 2 years of work experience will not be considered (except possiblyfor outstanding applications e.g. undergraduate record with distinction and a high GMAT\nscore of at least 650)
- A series of interviews\n Applicants may be invited for an individual interview (optional and by invitation at the\ndiscretion of the MBA director and/or the OSB Graduate Studies Committee).\n
- Two letters of recommendation preferably highlighting the applicants work experience
- Three essays
- A curriculum vitae
As per AUBs bylaws, the Graduate Studies Committee shall act on admission to the MBA\nprogram of all applicants.
