Admission Requirements:

To be admitted into the dual degree program, the applicant must specify the option at the time of application to the Graduate School. Students interested in applying for the MBA-MSCM dual degree program should consult with both the MSCM Director and MBA Director with regard to admission requirements and required courses.

  • Submission of Application

Must submit application to the graduate admission office and a non-refundable application fee. Must select Dual Degree as the chosen degree program so the application is sent to both MBA and MSCM programs.

  • Transcripts

Must submit all transcripts from former universites. Must have a Baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited in a manner accepted by Kennesaw State University.

  • The Graduate Management Admission Test\xc2\xae (GMAT)

The GMAT is a standardized assessment of preparation for advanced study in business. For more information, visit The Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC). For all MSCM/MBA dual degree program applicants, the Coles College offers a complimentary four-session GMAT Prep Seminar (capacity limits apply).

  • Recommendations

Two letters of recommendation from professional or academic sources are required. Ideally the letters should be from employers, supervisors, or professors familiar with your abilities. The letters should verify your ability to complete graduate level work and your potential for excellence in the field of conflict management.

  • Letter of Intent

A letter stating your interest in and goals for the MSCM/MBA program as well as the potential use for the degree is required. The letter should demonstrate why you are a good candidate for the dual degree program and should be at least 1 page, single spaced.

  • Resume

Current resume reflecting two years of working professional experience.(Note: Personal interviews will be conducted whenever possible and responsible work, community service, and leadership experience will be considered).

  • Additional Requirements for International Students

In addition to the documents listed above, International Students must submit transcript evaluations for all non-US colleges and universities and official TOEFL or IELTS scores. Documents required by US immigration laws, such as the sponsor affidavit, are not required as part of the application process but must be submitted before the student may enroll or attend courses.
