Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- a completed bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college or equivalent plus three years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant work experience, or
- a completed honours degree in business from an Australian university or college or equivalent plus three years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant work experience, or
- a completed CQUniversity Graduate Certificate or Diploma of Business Administration or equivalent, plus three years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant work/managerial experience, or
- Five years of managerial or professional work experience (places are limited and will be at the discretion of the MBA Director)

- current contact details of two referees who can be contacted concerning your work experience
- a one page brief outlining why you believe that your work experience would bring value to MBA class discussions
- any other evidence demonstrating potential for success in an MBA program (for example, GMAT or GRE Test scores, or non-credentialed industry training courses)
Work Experience Definitions
Relevant work experience must have imparted an understanding of how a business operates, including working knowledge of a range of areas such as budgeting, staffing, project management, financial reporting, process management or other relevant professional experience.
Managerial or professional work experience must have included direct, personal involvement in decision-making responsibility in a range of areas such as budgeting, staffing, project management, financial management process management, or other relevant professional experience.
Advanced Standing (Credit for Prior Learning): You may be eligible for exemptions of up to 48 credit points for previously completed graduate diploma level studies in business or an honours degree in business.
Advanced standing of up to 24 credit points may be granted where professional or managerial work experience has included decision-making responsibility in a range of areas such as budgeting, staffing, project management, financial management process management or other relevant professional experience. A minimum GMAT score of 500 must be submitted to be considered for this advanced standing.
Final decisions on credit for prior learning (CPL) will be determined by the MBA Director.English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
