Academic Requirements
- Normally an honours degree in psychology or related field e.g. social work
- Post qualification and/or training and experience in supervision
- Demonstration of commitment to ongoing professional development (e.g. further training workshops, seminars, conferences)
- Currently practising and a full member of a recognised professional body e.g. the Psychological Society of Ireland, the Irish Council for Psychotherapy, the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, the British Psychological Society or professional equivalent.
- Have access to a supervisee base for professional clinical practice
- Hold professional public indemnity insurance for supervision
