Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Admissions Requirements
- Four or more years of professional work experience. Professional experience is determined on a case-by-case basis using a resume and any requested supporting documents. Our admissions committee evaluates an individual\'s accomplishments, roles, and responsibilities to determine the total number of years of professional experience. FIU considers the individual\'s managerial responsibilities, role in setting direction and strategy, and his/her role in allocating resources. Normally, professional experience begins at the point of graduation; however, FIU may consider prior work experience based on the type of experience.
- Four-year US bachelor degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for the last 60 hours of upper division coursework
- Although the GMAT or GRE is not required for this program, you may be asked to take it to strengthen your admissions package.
- Good standing with all previously-attended colleges and universities.
