Prerequisites
- Education
A bachelor\'s degree must be conferred before attending Dartmouth. There are no specific course requirements to be completed at the undergraduate level.
- Experience
None required but work experience, community service experience, and/or volunteer experience are encouraged.
All application materials for Dartmouth\xc2\x92s MPH and MS programs are submitted through the Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS) (http://www.sophas.org/). This online system allows prospective students to submit a single application to multiple schools and programs of public health. SOPHAS forwards applications to Dartmouth.
A Complete Application
A complete application file consists of
- personal statement\xc2\xa0(the heart of the application)\xc2\x95 application form
- two letters of recommendation
- resume
- official transcripts
- standardized test scores (if required) and
- an application fee.
SOPHAS notifies TDI when an application is complete. When we send an application to the admissions committee, the applicant will receive an email.
