Prerequisites

We expect applicants to have a thorough basic education from your bachelor\xc2\x92s degree, including design (interaction design, advanced physical computing, aesthetic design, industrial design); programming (object-oriented programming, software architecture, web technology); and systems (computer architecture, pervasive systems, databases). For the student who can meet these requirements, our Master\xc2\x92s programme offers a number of specialisations.

The following Bachelors degrees qualify students for admission to the Masters degree programme in IT Product Development:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in IT with the special study area Product Design from Aarhus University.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with an elective subject equalling 45 ECTS credits in Physical Design and Product Design from Aarhus University.

The following other degrees can provide admission to the Masters degree programme in IT Product Development:

  • Another Bachelor of Science degree with subject components in IT equalling 60 ECTS credits, as well as basic subject components in Mathematics, Probability Theory and Statistics.

Other qualifications can provide admission to the Masters degree programme, provided the university assesses that their level, extent and content correspond to the degrees mentioned above.

In connection with possible admission, further requirements can be stipulated regarding the composition of the degree programme.
It is a condition that the students language skills correspond to a B level in English.
