Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The School of Graduate Studies requires a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 from a maximum of 4.3
- Minimum one-page personal statement
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience
- Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) minimum score of 550. Quantitative and verbal scores are evaluated separately. The GMAT is administered as a computer adaptive test (CAT) throughout North America and in many parts of the world. The program also will consider CATs accepted for admission to other post-graduate degrees such are GRE and LSAT.
- Candidates with a strong academic record may be considered for a GMAT waiver. Contact mba@unbsj.ca for more information.
- The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Test (IELTS), the Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL), or the Michigan Test(MELAB) is required from applicants whose first language is not English. This requirement may be waived for applicants who have a university degree obtained from an institution whose language of instruction is English.
- The minimum acceptable TOEFL score is 580 (237 computer-based test, 92 internet-based test) plus a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5.
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
