Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

Candidates should be holders of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the University of Nairobi, or an equivalent qualification approved by the University of Nairobi. The candidate must be registerable by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board. The candidates should have obtained a pass or its equivalent in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics at undergraduate level.

Pre admission Examination:

The candidates shall sit a preadmission written and clinical examination when applicable.

(NotesIn the situation where the applicants applying for admission shall be more than the capacity for training the applicants shall sit a preadmission written/clinical examination.

Previous experience:

Candidates should have had at least 3 years working experience in clinical dentistry of which one year shall constitute internship training and two years at an approved Dental hospital/clinic.
