The minimal mathematics background includes undergraduate coursework in univariate and multivariate calculus (at IUPUI, MATH 16500, 16600, 17100, and 26100), differential equations (at IUPUI, MATH 26600), linear algebra (at IUPUI, MATH 35100), and abstract algebra (at IUPUI, MATH 45300.)
