You will also examine managing customer relationships within Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) environments, and the processes and procedures used to measure customer lifetime value.Managing for Business Excellence \x96 In this unit you will analyse the strategic role of operations management within an enterprise, the role and issues associated with the implementation of technology and the systematic nature of, and need for, effective operations design.Financial Analysis and Management \x96 The management accounting unit covers: the theories of income measurement and asset evaluation; the techniques involved in the interpretation of accounting data; cash-flows and profit flows; costs relevant to decision making; the management of finance and techniques of capital investment appraisal; the uses of accounting for performance measurement; and developments in cost theory.Contemporary Issues in the International Environment \x96 In this unit you examine the context of global business activity and the political economy, looking at the extent to which these processes impact upon an organisation.

Areas studied will include knowledge network, resource/capability based view, international strategy, economic growth analysis (using CGI database), and alliances.Strategy Implementation \x96 In this unit you will identify the distinctions between business, corporate and functional level strategies and the relationship between these in global, international and multi-domestic organisations.   15. Year 3The Executive MBA Project (including Research Methods) - The project you undertake can be an enterprise project, business consultancy, or an empirical dissertation. Your project will be a combination of thorough research methods and will be a substantial piece of work of approximatley 12,000 - 15,000 words, which will address a business research issue of your choice. Through this project, you will be able to draw upon the different strands of learning throughout your studies. The project will allow you to demonstrate your mastery of management theory, techniques and practice.

Our AMBA-accredited MBAs are for professionals with management experience and this is reflected in our entry requirements. We are delighted to offer places to applicants who meet either of the following criteria:

1. A minimum of three years relevant work experience plus a good (2:2) degree in any subject from a recognised university or an equivalent international, academic or professional qualification.

Or

2. Significant management experience and a substantial record of achievement. Candidates meeting this criteria may not have previously studied at university.

Supporting references are required in all cases.
