Standard Entry
GCSE requirements- A good GCSE profile is expected including Maths and English Language at minimum grade C or equivalent
- 340 UCAS Tariff points including one or more of the following:
- From at least 2 GCE/VCE A Levels, including GCE A level Mathematics at grade B and a GCE/VCE A level in another analytical science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics or Technology)
- Distinction, Distinction, Distinction in Engineering
- ABBBB at Higher level, ABB at Advanced Higher, including Mathematics and another analytical science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics or Technology)
- AABBB including Mathematics and another analytical science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics or Technology)
- 28 points including Mathematics and another analytical science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics or Technology) at Higher Level
- The University welcomes applications from students studying qualifications from different qualification types - for example A level and a BTEC qualification in combination, and if you are made an offer you will be asked to achieve UCAS Tariff points from all of the qualifications you are studying at level 3 (ie A level equivalent). Should the course you wish to study have a subject specific requirement then you must also meet this requirement, usually from GCE A level
