Academic Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree or its equivalent (legalised official transcripts required). Acceptance by the Dean\'s Office of the chosen faculty.
Legalisation of Educational Documents- Documents witnessing education acquired abroad are subject to legalisation, if they have been issued in the state having not acceded to the 1961 Hague Convention concerning abolition oflegalisation requirements of documents issued in foreign countries, or approved by "Apostille" if they have been issued in the state having acceded to the above mentioned Conventionhttp://www.hcch.net. Legalisation is necessary to allow documents issued in one country to be accepted and used by institutions of other countries. Legalisation of documents is a confirmation of authenticity of signature, signatorys title and stamp by a competent official form each party;
- First, the educational documents should be legalised by the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs or the diplomatic mission or consular post of the country where education was received;
- Second, the documents should be legalised by the Lithuanian diplomatic mission or consular post in the country where education was received or in the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. More information you can find on www.urm.lt;
- Then you have to apply for recognition at Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (CQAHE) which is an independent public agency. The Centre implements the external quality assurance and gives the University the answer if we can accept you for studies. More info:www.skvc.lt
