Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Admission Requirements:
A necessary prerequisite for the enrolment in the M. Sc. in Mechatronics program is a qualified Bachelors degree, Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in an equivalent field. The duration of the corresponding course has to be at least three years.
All applicants have to submit proof of sufficient knowledge of the German language by passing the "Zertifikat Deutsch" of the Goethe Institut or a comparable German language examination (level B1). No further proof is needed, if the applicant holds a High School Diploma of a German school or if he or she holds a degree of a German university (see below: German language course).
In addition every applicant should have sufficient knowledge of the English language, because the lecture of the 1st semester and part of the lectures of the 2nd semester will be taught in English.
Further on we require all candidates from outside the European educational area to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test.
We require all candidates to come with a very good knowledge of the English language, which can be proven by the IELTS (minimum 6.0) or the TOEFL (minimum 79) or an equivalent English language test.
