Academic Requirements
An undergraduate degree, or equivalent qualification, in a healthcare profession or relevant discipline.
If you are applying for the PGDip you must have completed the PGCert in Medical or Clinical Education. If you are applying for the part time MMedEd you must have completed the PGDip\xc2\xa0in Medical or Clinical Education.\xc2\xa0
If you are applying for part time study you\xc2\xa0must be working in a role that involves medical education for the duration of the course.\xc2\xa0
If you are an intercalating medical student\xc2\xa0applying for the MMedEd you must have:
- completed your third or fourth undergraduate year
- passed all assignments on first attempt
We will consider relevant\xc2\xa0prior-accredited learning\xc2\xa0(RPL) for exemption from certain modules:
- up to 20 credits (for the Teaching and Learning in the Classroom module) for students studying to PGCert or PGDip level
- 60 credits for students studying the MMedEd

Direct Entry: IELTS 7.0 overall\xc2\xa0(with a minimum of 7.0 in all sub-skills).
Pre-sessional English Language courses are not accepted\xc2\xa0as an alternative entry to this course.
