Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- Bachelor\'s degree with 2:2 honours or equivalent in a life science, radiography, nursing or medicine. All applicants must have written confirmation of a suitable clinical training placement. Those with full SVT accreditation may be exempt from the first year. Qualified sonographers may take the Vascular Ultrasound module as a stand-alone module. Entry is subject to satisfactory references and interview.
- This programme is only available to overseas applicants who already have a suitable UK/EU clinical placement and are holding a valid work visa that covers them for the entire duration of the programme. Overseas applicants who do not meet the above criteria are not eligible for this programme due to UKBA restrictions on overseas applicants studying part-time course in the UK
