- identify, classify and evaluate models of health care financing, purchasing and delivery
- understand and assess a diverse range of health system reform programmes currently underway in the developed and developing world
- recognise and appraise the key institutions and mechanisms of domestic and global health policy formulation
- explain the role of the state in financing health care and organising health services
- understand how different types of health system impact on population health outcomes
- explain the consequences of different forms of ownership and governance in the delivery of health care
- identify the most effective ways to reform and strengthen health systems in high-income and resource-poor settings

Academic Requirements
- International qualifications
- IELTS: total 7.0 (at least 6.0 in each module)
- TOEFL-iBT: total 100 (at least 20 in each module)
- PTE(A): total 67 (at least 56 in each of the "Communicative Skills" sections)
- CAE and CPE: total 185 (at least 169 in each module)
- If you completed a CAE or CPE before January 2015 please contact the Admissions Office for the accepted grades.
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
