Academic Requirements
BSc Midwifery or related degree, normally at 2.2 or higher, or evidence of recent level 6 study.\xc2\xa0
You must be a practising midwife to study this programme.\xc2\xa0
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROGRAMME DOES NOT CONFER REGISTERED MIDWIFE STATUS i.e. it does not qualify you to practice as a midwife.
English Language Requirements
International applicants will be required to show a proficiency in English. An IELTS score of 6.5 (with no element below 5.5) is proof of this. If you need to improve your written and spoken English, you might be interested in our English language courses.
Suitable For
You will be a practising midwife, normally with at least a year\xc2\x92s clinical experience. You will hold a BSc Midwifery or related degree at 2.2 or above, or have evidence of recent Level 6 study. You will be keen to explore and analyse the latest developments in midwifery knowledge and practice and develop a leading role in clinical practice.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
