Academic Requirements
These are dependent on whether you are applying for Route One or Two.
Route One (Delta): Applicants should either have a second class honours degree and at least two years\' full-time English Language Teaching experience or have substantial English Language Teaching work experience. Applicants must be native English speakers or have an English language ability of at least IELTS 7.5 with no skill less than 7.0 (or equivalent). All suitable applicants will be interviewed by an approved Delta Trainer.
Route Two (Non-Delta): Applicants should either have a second class honours degree or have substantial English Language Teaching work experience. All applicants should have an English language level of at least IELTS 6.0 with no skill less than 5.5 (or equivalent). All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional; a template can be accessed at this link.
Route One:English Language Requirement: IELTS 7.5 with no skills below 7.0, or an equivalent qualification.
Route Two : English Language Requirement: IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification. The University provides excellent support for any applicant who may be required to undertake additional English language courses.
