Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

We look for students who have had a considerable amount of hands-on training with modern laboratory techniques and are well acquainted with the principles of the scientific method of experimentation. For example, it is desirable to have experience with modern research techniques like PCR and gel electrophoresis.

The ideal candidate should have completed one of the following:

- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in a related scientific discipline such as molecular medicine, biology, or biochemistry

- German “Diplom” in a related scientific discipline

- German Fachhochschule Abschluss in a related scientific discipline

Related scientific disciplines can also include bioinformatics, biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, genetics, and a number of other different subject areas. 

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
