Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- A completed application and non-refundable application fee.
- Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate records- Students must have earned a Bachelor\'s degree or higher from an accredited school.
- Official Test Scores- GRE general test is required for the Ph.D. program except for applicants holding degrees of M.D., D.D.S., D.V.M., D.Sc., or D.O. from accredited institutions in the United States. GREs, MCATs or DATs are required for the master\xc2\x92s programs. Scores must be taken within 5 years of the semester in which the student will matriculate. Educational Testing Service (ETS) institution code for the GSBS for both the GRE and TOEFL is 2610
- Recommendations from three individuals for Ph.D. programs and two for masters programs, preferably academic instructors, who have direct knowledge of the applicant\'s academic performance in science-related fields. GSBS does not have a recommendation form, please see the FAQ for details.
- Personal Statement- This is part of the online application.
- Interview with Admissions Committee-Required only for the Cell and Molecular Biology (PhD/MS) and Histopathology applicants. Not all applicants will be invited for an admissions interview.
