Admission Requirements:

1) Graduate Online Admissions Application & pay the application fee

2) On-line application personal statement please address the following three items and include headings in your response:

  • Statement of purpose (400 words): Explain your educational and career objectives and how this relates specifically to the IUPUI program; what do you intend to study here and why? Why is this the right program for you?
  • Professional Practice (250 words): Propose a research question that is based on an experience you\xc2\x92ve had as a museum employee, intern, or volunteer. Why does the question interest you and how might you go about studying it? What kind of questions of professional practice are you interested in exploring?
  • Personal endorsement (250 words): Briefly describe why you think we should admit you to the program. Why are you interesting? Why are you the right fit for IUPUI?

3) Current CV or Resume (To be uploaded along with your personal statement)

4) Three letters of reference at least one of which should be from a person who can speak to your academic record.

5) Official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities you have attended. We do not require a transcript from IUPUI or IU Bloomington since we can access them electronically.

6) Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
