Please set aside sufficient time \xc2\x97 usually about two to three weeks \xc2\x97 for Graduate Studies to receive and process your supporting documents. Although Graduate Studies typically processes received materials in about one to two business days, it can take much longer for issuing parties to gather and submit the requested documents.

When you submit your application, all domestic and international applicants will be asked to provide credit card information to pay the nonrefundable $75 application fee. The fee must be paid online and your application will not be received until it\'s paid.
What Do I Need to Qualify for the Program?

Students interested in applying should have an undergraduate degree in music, computing, engineering, or a related discipline. You should also be ready to demonstrate your background in musical performance, composition, and/or musical theory, as well as any basic skills in programming and/or engineering. This degree program requires strong musical and technical skills, so prepare yourself to show your strengths in both.

Additionally, candidates for the program may be asked to interview with faculty either in person or by telephone. This is the stage of the application process where you can expect to have your portfolio reviewed, as our faculty will use this time to assess your qualifications. A limited number of research assistantships may be offered to qualified students.
