- Fundamental Human Anatomy 1 - including the upper and lower limbs, back and pelvis.
- Fundamental Human Anatomy 2 - including thorax, abdomen, head and neck.
- Embryology - human development.
- Neuroanatomy - nervous system
- Advanced Human Anatomy 1 - more detailed study of anatomy previously examined incorporating anatomical principles.
- Advanced Human Anatomy 2
- Histology - microscopic anatomy.
- Imaging - modalities that are relevant to anatomical sciences.
- A recorded lecture to introduce the topic

- A set of resource links to course reading \x96 library and research.
- A discussion board facilitated by a tutor.
- A set of multiple choice questions (MCQs) which students can take at the end of each week - these are formative and do not contribute to the final mark.

Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Upper Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in a medical, biomedical, or relevant bioscience topic.
- We may also consider your application if you are in a profession allied to medicine or have relevant work experience; please contact us to check before you apply. You may be admitted to certificate level only in the first instance.
English language requirements
All applicants must have one of the following qualifications as evidence of their English language ability:
an undergraduate or masters degree, that was taught and assessed in English in a majority English speaking country as defined by UK Visas and Immigration
- UKVI list of majority English speaking countries
- IELTS Academic: total 6.5 (at least 6.0 in each module)
- TOEFL-iBT: total 92 (at least 20 in each module)
- PTE(A): total 61 (at least 56 in each of the "Communicative Skills" sections; the "Enabling Skills" sections are not considered)
- CAE and CPE: total 176 (at least 169 in each module)
- Trinity ISE: ISE II with distinctions in all four components
Degrees taught and assessed in English must be no more than two and a half years old at the beginning of your degree programme. Language tests must be no more than two years old at the beginning of your degree programme.
